Create A Blog

Now we are going to create a blog. Blogs are great, because they allow anyone to create and manage their own personal content sites without knowing anything about HTML, or Javascript or any of the technical stuff. Even better is that there are some really good free blog providers, such as Blogger.

So we want to create a blog - a blog that focuses on the subject that we chose in the previous task.

• Go to Blogger, and create a blog. Use an appropriate title for your blog. You can use this resource, Creating A Blog With Blogger, to guide you through the creation process.
  
  
• Once you have created your blog, create a post by using one of the articles that you saved previously and ensure that the blog is published. You will be prompted to republish the entire blog each time you add a new post.
  
  
• Once you have successfully added your first post in the blog, go to PingoMatic.

   

  This is essentially a broadcasting service. It allows you notify many of the blog directories and blog search engines that your blog has just been updated. This in turn allows the major search engines to notice your blog and to visit it in order to index it. Its like standing with a loudspeaker in a market and making an announcement. It's basically a way of saying, "Hey, I am here!". There are a number of services similar to PingoMatic, but this is one of the most popular ones.

  At PingoMatic, enter the title of your blog name and the blog address. Select all of the services to ping.

• Congratulations, you have successfully completed this step!. You have just learned and implemented an important step that will help you make money online. In later projects, I will show you how to use the creation of blogs in order to create revenue.
