It is very important that you have a good grasp of search engine optimization because knowing this skill and having experience in it can be an extremely great asset that can earn you lots of money, either by affiliate programs or via Adsense, or in fact, any method of monetization.

As you read through the tutorials in this section, try to relate them to some of the project tasks that I have asked you to do. You should be able to relate what the purpose of those tasks are and how and why they relate to traffic and seo.

So often when people encounter seo and want to start optimizing their sites they are lost as to where to begin. Filled with a few helpful and a few not so helpful comments from a forum or article they set out looking for the magic formula that will take their site to the top of the search engines only to get lost in a tangle of misinformation that can often do as much harm as good.

The following series will give you a thorough and concise introduction to the world of search engine optimization. Read through it and also try to relate some of the project tasks that you have been assigned to the principles contained in this series.
