Using The OnlyWire Service

Hi again My three Billion Messages Daily - Time to reveal a great resource.

Now in one of the previous tasks I told you about social bookmarking and how you can use social bookmarking sites as a means of getting traffic and also creating backlinks to your main "money" sites in order to boost their positions in the search engines, or to get them indexed if they are new sites.

Now there are literally hundreds of social bookmarking sites that have appeared. We as Profitlancers want automation in all of our efforts. Automation means leverage. Automation means time-saving.

OnlyWire.Com

This is a free service that allows you to automate your bookmarking. You create a free account at OnlyWire.Com. Then you insert your username and passwords for the accounts you have at various bookmarking sites. If you don't have accounts at those sites (about 15-20 in total) you can create them first.

Once this is done, you can bookmark a page, or a site, or a blog at all those bookmarking sites, at just a single location. In fact, with a single click. Now this gives you an amazing amount of leverage, and I successfully used only this service (OnlyWire.Com) to successfully launch a series of Adsense sites. I got them indexed within a day or two and got steady traffic, as I continued to bookmark specific pages from within those sites.

  • Lets go through how you use this resource. Here is the first page:

     

     

  • Click on "Start Using It Now" to create your account:

     

  • Once you have created your account, you will need to put in your account details for all the social bookmarking sites that you want to use. See the picture below:

     

    Now it may be a little time consuming, setting up accounts with each of these sites but it is worth the effort. I used a brand new email and used the same username and password for all of these sites to keep everything simple. Once you have done that, enter your username and password for each of those sites. It does not matter if you get them all done, you can use just five, or ten of them for now and do the rest later.

     

  • To add your site to all the bookmarking sites at once you just go to this address:

    http://www.onlywire.com/submit?

    Title is the title of your site or your page. URL is your website address. Tags - this is important. You should include a few general keywords that categorize the subject of your site or page. This will allow the social bookmarking sites to place your link within categories that people will be browsing to look for relevant links.

    You do not need to add any comments, and do not check the "Mark as Private" box.

    Once done simply click on "Bookmark Page" and you are done. The search engine spiders will find your site very quickly because you have bookmarked your page on sites that are liked by the search engines.

How To Use This Tool Effectively

Please note that you can bookmark each individual page of your site separately. I usually have Adsense sites that may contain anything from 20-150 pages. What I do is ping the site first (see here for information on pinging) and this brings the search engine spiders in immediately. Then I social bookmark the first page (the main web address, or blog address). Then I bookmark each of my individual pages, but I spread it out over a few weeks.

This will bring you visitors from the social bookmarking sites and will also give you some good backlinks from these social bookmarking sites.
